چکیده
Abstract In recent decades, the continuous depletion of fossil fuels and increasingly serious environmental issue have aroused wide attention on development biopolymers based renewable biomass. Lignin is second most abundant organic bio‐based macromolecule to cellulose, it can be widely found in plants. Furthermore, various phenol derivatives obtained by their depolymerization processes. The bio‐renewable polymeric materials originating from lignin‐derivative monomers, such as vanillin, syringaldehyde, eugenol, vanillyl alcohol, vanillic acid, ferulic will not only valorize bio‐sourced but also effectively reduce petroleum resource consumption mitigate pollution. Therefore, an updated overview synthesis processes these polymers developed past decade, which includes both thermosets thermoplastics epoxy, phenolic, polyimine, polybenzoxazine, polyurethane, polyesters, are elucidated. addition, applications composites flame‐retarded materials, degradable reprocessable dielectric optoelectronic well smart responsive intensively discussed. line with gradual technologies, we believe that lignin turn into one promising considered for preparation high‐performance functional polymer materials.

Advanced Developments in Cyclic Polymers: Synthesis, Applications, and Perspectives
Due to the topological effect, cyclic polymers demonstrate different and unique physical and biological properties in comparison with linear counterparts having the same molecular-weight range. With advanced synthetic and analytic technologies, cyclic polymers with different topologies, e.g. multicyclic polymers, have been reported and well characterized. For example, various cyclic DNA and rel...
متن کاملNatural Phenol Polymers: Recent Advances in Food and Health Applications
Natural phenol polymers are widely represented in nature and include a variety of classes including tannins and lignins as the most prominent. Largely consumed foods are rich sources of phenol polymers, notably black foods traditionally used in East Asia, but other non-edible, easily accessible sources, e.g., seaweeds and wood, have been considered with increasing interest together with waste m...
متن کاملElectropolymerized phenol derivatives as permselective polymers for biosensor applications.
Amperometric biosensors are often coated with a polymeric permselective film to avoid electroactive interference by reducing agents present in the target medium. Phenylenediamine and phenol monomers are commonly used to form these permselective films in the design of microsensors and biosensors. This paper aims to evaluate the permselectivity, stability and lifetime of polymers electrosynthesiz...
